Michael you were not alone. Millions of Americans have paid billions to physicians who have been willing to prostitute themselves for plastic surgeries that no one needed (I understand that you had as many as fifty procedures), for pain medications that addict and psychoactive drugs that have questionable value. There were when you lived and there still are now physician hustlers who sold and sell any surgery or any medication for the right price- throwing away their ethics and moral responsibilities for a buck. I don't know how you died. I don't think that those of us who loved your music, energy and talent will ever know the truth. But, I will wager that once again technology was over used and cash was king and you did not get what you really needed for your troubled soul. You were able to buy whatever you thought that you required to escape the pain. A big guess I think, but, I am so sorry that medicine was the tool that destroyed you and American doctors shamefully were the soldiers to kill you. Talented people can get a little crazy. You needed something more than pills and surgeries to save you. But, Michael, the heavens are filled with those like you killed with bad medicine. I feel really ashamed of what we physicians have become.
You were not alone.
